The Zion Lutheran Home at Nundah, in Brisbane’s inner north, is a Residential Aged Care Facility which provides nursing home and hostel care. The hostel caters for 60 residents and there is a 40 bed nursing home. Zion provides a professional, caring and friendly service to people of all ages within its mixture of low and high care places.

Additionally, 20 ‘extra service’ places are available where residents pay for additional services including extra furnishings, valet service, Foxtel television, newspapers, physiotherapy, wine or beer with evening meals and a more varied menu. This adds an important element of choice for people entering an aged care service.

A bargain shop managed by volunteers from local congregations and the community, contributes substantially to refurbishments and additional services for the residents.

Residents enjoy a wide range of recreational and social activities, and regular services are held in the on-site Chapel.
