trinity disability support service

The Trinity Activity Intellectual Therapy Centre opened in 1975 to provide cooking, sewing, crafts, woodwork and other activities to young people with disabilities in the Southport area.

Since then, this community-based outreach service, now known as Trinity Disability Support Service, has evolved significantly. Trinity is funded by Disability Services Queensland, and today provides a range of support to adults living with an intellectual disability, with the aim of helping them to live valued and independent lives in the Gold Coast community.

Experienced and qualified support staff focus on the strengths and individual needs of each person, and work with them, their families and other care providers to develop individually-tailored support programs which cover a range of skills and subjects. Our programs are practical and flexible, assisting the person to reach their goals and enhance their ability to maintain an independent lifestyle.
