About Us

Founded in 1935, Lutheran Community Care (LCC) has evolved over the years to continually respond to the community's greatest needs in the areas of aged care, community services and chaplaincy.

We provide services to thousands of Queenslanders every year and endeavour to live our values in our daily interactions with each individual.

The values we use to guide our organisation and our personal responses to our clients are:

  • offer grace and hope
  • deliver faithful service
  • respect the dignity of our clients
  • foster a committed and innovative culture, and
  • secure a sustainable future

As a not-for-profit organisation, LCC reinvests all operating surpluses to further improve care and to reach more people who need our services.

Lutheran Community Care is a department of the Lutheran Church of Australia, Queensland District.
