Flower power draws master gardeners to Buderim |

BEAUTIFUL blooms will draw hundreds of visitors to Maroochydoore Orchid Society’s annual orchid exhibition on 10 March at Immanuel Gardens Retirement Village.
Among the show’s attendees will be James Duthie, 86, one of Immanuel Gardens’ 242 residents who is rapt it will be held on his home turf.
James said the one-day exhibition will feature raffles, potting demonstrations and light refreshments.

In August 2011 the Productivity Commission released a report entitled Caring for Older Australians. If adopted, the report’s recommendations mean sweeping changes for aged care consumers and providers.
The National Aged Care Alliance has designed a series of information sheets designed to shed light on what these changes could mean for aged care’s future directions.
